SHORT FILMS

BFI Film academy course short film (in post-production)- October 2025 (Production Coordinator/runner)

Alongside my full time role as Project Assistant, I worked as Production Coordinator for Signal Film and Media's BFI Film Academy  25-26 course. I organised industry talks and workshops for the 16-19 year old participants, as well as printing scripts and organising accommodation and filming groups on set. The film is now in post-production and will be screened at HOME in Manchester in early 2026.

Tinseltown in the rain (Working Title)- July 2025 (1st AD)

I worked as 1st Assistant Director on a Cumbrian short film featuring local crew and talent. Set by the coast, it follows an ageing singer and her son who put on one last showstopping performance in her final days. I assisted in scheduling as well as giving script notes in pre-production,  and kept the shoot on time, prioritising essential coverage whilst respecting directorial choice.  The film is in post-production and will be screened at festival upon completion.

ARIZA- DOS ALMAS MUSIC VIDEO (View Shift Productions)- JUNE 2025 (Runner)

As a runner for this shoot, I assisted in creating the set, keeping the green room tidy, taking lunch and drink orders, as well as playback and slating assistance. The music video is now available to watch on Youtube.

TRANSPARENCY (Final Year Film)- March 2025

(PRODUCER)

Our final year university film explores a father-son relationship within chaos of a world where people disappear if they lose their life's purpose. As producer, I organised all locations, tracked the project's budget and fundraising, and filed all releases and contracts. I also undertook this role on a 2 minute proof of concept for this film in November 2024.

VOLUMES- JULY 2024

(2ND AD)

'Volumes' is an MA Film Production thesis exploring how a film's audience brings their own interpretations and meanings to a film, alongside its director, screenwriter and editor. Filmed over three weeks, Volumes is a choose-your-own-adventure story, and follows John Smith as he navigates the recent loss of his father. Your choices decide his direction, love life, and ultimately if he can live with the grief he feels.

I assisted the 1st AD with scheduling on set, dealing with any logistical problems and also general kit set up and pack down.

SEASON FINALE- JULY 2024

(director/WRITER)

In summer 2024 I made my university directorial debut with the horror sitcom film 'Season Finale', with a script I also wrote. The film was entirely made on university campus with student crew on a very low budget, and was premiered at the 'Trust Me I'm Your Best Mate' premiere in Blackpool in October 2024.

The film will be publicly available after it has completed it's festival run.

trust me I'm your best mate- may 2024

(screenwriteR)

A coming of age television pilot full of laughs, shenanigans, and countless chippy orders. Set in 1980s Blackpool, it follows the real life meeting of future best mates Greg and Steve, from ATC Training to terrorising Steve's younger brother.

I wrote the first half of the 15 minute pilot, collaborating with the other screenwriter to keep characters consistent, and cannot wait to see more of Greg and Steve's future adventures.

did you get that?- MARCH 2024

(1ST AD)

This student short film follows Ross as he begins to question the morality of having non-believer co-host Shaun on his supernatural investigation show. When they find rumours of a demonic force in the woods to be true, they must flee from that which they sought out.

'Did You Get That?'  was screened at Dead Northern Horror Film Festival, who praised it as "a memorable and effective exercise into analogue horror that perfectly balances explorations into otherworldly creatures while grounding itself as a tale of gritty realism."

HEIRLOOM- NOVEMBER 2023

(Screenwriter)

I wrote the script for 'Heirloom', which follows two sisters unearthing past conflict as they sort through their deceased mother's belongings. The film takes inspiration from the sisterly dynamics in Fleabag, which I adapted through dialogue and character choices.

The film won the Audience Award in the under £1500 category at the We Make Films Film Festival 2024 and was runner up at Salford Film Festival 2024.
